
Berlin-Peck Library Spotlight
Whether you’re new to town or have been here for years, Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is the place to go when you’re seeking a place to connect with your children, teens, or peers.
The Berlin-Peck Memorial is Berlin’s library which was originally founded in 1829 by the Kensington Library Society with the purchase of 40 books. Since then the library gradually evolved and in 1989 was relocated to a new facility at 234 Kensington Road. The library is now a resource for its community of 20K residents and has a collection of over 100k items.
While the library has a vast variety of books, its resources also include a digital media lab, computers and the Internet, a passport office, and notary services.
Every month, the library offers an array of events for the community to attend.
While some events are monthly recurring such as:
- 1st Wed: Career Navigation
- 3rd Wed: Dementia Caregiver Support Group
- Last Monday: Lawyers in Libraries: Free Legal Help
- Every Thursday: Sit & Knit
- Every Friday: Movie Matinee
There are also unique events for babies, tweens, teens, and adults.
