Route 511 connects the Meriden Transit Center, Berlin railroad station, and Downtown New Britain Station. In Meriden, Route 511 making local stops along North Broad St., Bunker Ave., Camp St., State St. & Pratt St launched in March 2024.

Service operates hourly, 7 days a week.

Connections are available at CTfastrak Downtown New Britain Station.

10-Trip Bus Pass

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) offers a free 10-trip bus pass to commuters who do not use the bus. The program is called the CTrides free trial ride program.

Emergency Ride Home Program

We are reimbursing emergency trips home for employees who use a qualified green commute. To participate in the program, you must sign up with CTrides directly, click here to learn more.

Program flexibility

Trips can be taken to a home, a park and ride lot, or to a child’s school, among others. Eligible modes from work include on-demand ride services (Uber or Lyft), taxis, or a ride with a coworker.
